Executive Summary
This proposal aims to adjust the frequency of Jackpot Gold winnings from a monthly+ to a weekly basis. This change is intended to maintain community hype and anticipation, incentivize betting on weekly winners, and encourage other tokens to increase their liquidity, staked TVL, and community trends within the Blast ecosystem.
Motivation
The current monthly or more frequency of Jackpot Gold winnings has led to a reduction in excitement and participation. A weekly jackpot will create more frequent opportunities for engagement, maintaining a higher level of community interest and activity. This adjustment will also incentivize other tokens to enhance their performance and metrics to compete for the weekly jackpot, ultimately benefiting the entire Blast ecosystem.
Proposal Details
Current State
Currently, Jackpot Gold winnings are awarded on a monthly or even more basis. This infrequent schedule has led to reduced excitement and engagement from the community and dApp projects.
Proposed Change
Transition to a weekly Jackpot Gold winning schedule. This will ensure that there is a winner every week, maintaining continuous hype and anticipation. in S1 daily, but make it weekly also good. we can get 48 winners/tokens minimum (ngl its still low). instead of ONLY < 12 token that could win in a year

Technical Adjustments

- Week 1-2: Develop and test the updated smart contract and automation tools.
- Week 2: Roll out the updated system and announce the transition to the community.
- Week 3 and onwards: Begin the weekly jackpot schedule, monitor the process, and make any necessary adjustments.
